An urban retreat experience in which to learn about Restorative Yoga whilst reaping all the benefits of this healing and nourishing practice.
Stress and Anxiety are so prevalent in our society, especially in the light of recent world events, and often as a consequence of our being bombarded with external stimulation that is neither nourishing nor nurturing.
The practice of Restorative Yoga or Deep Rest, helps to counter-balance this, guiding us towards clarity, profound peace and ultimately more efficient use of our energy.
This training will take place at Yantra Studio, Norwich

This Course is for:
Anyone with an interest in Deep Rest including qualified, trainee and aspiring yoga teachers, body workers and other types of therapists.
Anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of the nervous system, the importance of rest and the mind-body connection, including those who are keen to practice stillness and relaxation at home, or to encourage friends and family to do so.
In this training we will look at Restorative Yoga and its potential for deep healing: physically, mentally and emotionally.

This is a fully interactive and immersive experience tailored to those present.
Day 1 will look at the essential principles and basic poses.
Day 2 will offer further variations, more teaching practice, lesson planning and sequencing ideas.
There will be loads of Restorative practice for ourselves, so you’ll feel like you’ve been on retreat.

About your Trainer: Dina Cohen
A vibrant and varied teacher, Dina Cohen has over 1,200 hours of specialist teacher trainings herself, and she is passionate about bringing her decades of teaching to other yoga teachers.
She is a Yoga Alliance Senior Teacher, Trainer and Continuing Education Provider. Dina provides mentorship for trainee and new teachers and has worked at many of London’s top yoga studios including Triyoga and the Life Centre. Committed to giving back to the community Dina offers free classes for refugees and asylum seekers at the Happy Baby Community and for the mental health charity Mind.
